My favorite yellow
First off, the bad news: It's a yellow, so if you are expecting a single layer coverage on top of a dark color, it's not going to happen. You want to paint this on top of either an off-white or an ochre if you want to end up with an even coat. However... it's still my favorite yellow. Why? Because despite the thinness, the pigment stays quite true to its color even when the coat is super thin. Other yellows out there will come with some help with a secondary pigment that can overpower the yellow when on top of another color: I've seen fun examples where the yellow gets a green-ish hue, no matter what you paint it on. This yellow doesn't do any of that: It's just thin, but it remains true to the pigment: Like a perfectly good glaze. So if you are, say, building up to a yellow from some ochre, this yellow builds up the color very nicely, and can become your midtone/first highlight after a couple of coats. Then mix with a brighter yellow/ice white for your top highlights. So as long as you realize that you can't ask to do what, say, 005-Blue can do, it's a top performer
Great product and returning costumer!
The paints are perfect from pigment to the bottle design. I have recommended them to some friends who also enjoy using them.
Gorgeous warm yellow
I learned about PA warm yellow from watching a Ninjon video on NMM. Adding this to my gold nmm recipe has been a game changer.
It’s a super thin paint so it does not need to be thinned and will not hide details and covers smoothly but somehow covers just as good as other brands like citadel!!!
Nothing but good things to say about Monument. They went above and beyond communicating with me and combining orders for me to get the free shipping deal on Black Friday. Excellent service all around.. Thank You Monument
