Manufacturing Team Member
Location: Monument HQ - Phoenix AZ
About the Job
The Manufacturing Team Member will perform various tasks in the production department of Monument Hobbies. Training is provided.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing packaging materials
- Assembling products for distribution to stores and customers
- Managing inventory of supplies for production department
- Receiving and shelving shipments of raw materials
- Moving raw materials to production lines
- Operating paint-filling and capping machines
- Inspecting finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Moving prepared products to warehouse shelves
- Assisting with packing and palletizing large reseller and distributor orders
- General office and warehouse clean-up
While performing the duties of this job, you will consistently be required to:
- Stand, walk, sit, twist, bend, and reach
- Operate machinery that uses repetitive arm movements
- Lift and move/carry up to 80 pounds
You are expected to:
- Arrive on time and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Comply with established operating procedures and safety practices for assigned role
- Follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct as outlined in the Monument Hobbies employee handbook
Desired Qualifications and Characteristics:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, small business environment
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
