About the Role
We're looking for an experienced HR & Finance Director to lead both the human resources and financial operations at Monument Hobbies. This dual-role position oversees recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance on the HR side, while managing bookkeeping, forecasting, and reporting on the finance side.

What You'll Do
- Oversee all aspects of recruitment, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies
- Manage benefits administration, including health insurance and other employee programs
- Advise management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, keeping company policies up to date
- Oversee training and development programs to support employee growth
- Manage the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Prepare and manage expense forecasting and cash flow projections
- Analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees
- Coordinate audits and work with external accountants to ensure tax compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in a combination of Finance and HR
- Proven experience in both Human Resources and Finance management
- Familiarity with HR software and finance tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Strong understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in preparing and presenting financial reports and budgets to executive leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in financial management
- Ability to lead in both HR and financial initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and employee matters

Operations Manager
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Fulfillment and Production teams. This role owns the end-to-end performance of our warehouse fulfillment operations and our internal and third-party manufacturing, driving order accuracy, on-time shipping, and high-quality production as we continue to grow.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who wants real ownership over daily operations, training and developing staff, and partnering with company leadership on process improvement and new product development.
What You'll Do
- Direct daily fulfillment operations, ensuring efficient order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
- Lead, train, and supervise fulfillment team members to meet performance goals and safety standards
- Oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and safety compliance
- Lead and develop the internal Production team, ensuring production objectives, schedules, and quality requirements are met across internal operations and third-party manufacturers
- Monitor production performance and timelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Oversee product quality control and maintain production records
- Collaborate with purchasing, customer service, supply chain, and operations teams to align priorities
- Monitor KPIs across both departments and report on performance to senior management
- Serve as the company's Safety Officer, maintaining the written Workplace Safety Program, OSHA logs, and safety training for all employees
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5+ years in a supervisory or management role, preferably overseeing warehouse, fulfillment, or production operations
- Experience managing multiple teams simultaneously
- In-depth understanding of warehouse and fulfillment operations, inventory management, and shipping logistics
- Familiarity with production management, quality control, and product specifications, including third-party manufacturing relationships
- Proficiency with inventory and order management systems and project management software
- Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple departments
- Excellent communication skills for managing teams and working with external partners
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate across two teams simultaneously
- Comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment; able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
