First of all theseare dry brushes nothing exciting about that. However unlike most dry brushes out there, these work well and clean up well and are excellent time and time again verses other drybrushes that degrade fast and quickly need replacing
Wow. I will never again use any other brushes (except for those I may eventually replace) for dry brushing. The 5 or 6 I bought have overnight improved my technique. I model mostly in 1/48th scale model railroad. Highly detailed castings jump to life.
Love all the brushes from Monument. These are no exception
Monument has changed the hobby game.
Bottom line: The sooner you switch over from GW paints and brushes the happier you will be. The consistency and coverage of these paints is unmatched. It’s not just the acrylics either, the quality of their metallics rivals long held contenders of the top spot for metallic paints such as scale 75! Their brushes have excellent shape and are incredibly durable. I abusé the **** out of my brushes, don’t do what i do....But they still perform incredibly! Lastly for some context I was using warp stone glow from citadel to highlight Dark Angels. I switched over to monument green, the coverage was superior and the color at the end was much more vivid. Due to the coverage i estimate that in this case I was saving half an hour to fourty five minutes edge highlighting each model. Not to even mention the price and multiple new ranges of paint coming out in 2023? Why are you still here? Go to the checkout page already!!! Happy Hobbying!
*note, this is my first time using brushes just sort of, in general so it’s possible the fault is with me, not the brushes. The only real problem I have is that when I wash the brushes it’s pretty hard to actually get the paint out of the brush. Other than that, absolute excellence
The Domed Drybrushes definitely take a little more effort when cleaning, because of their density. We recommend using our Jentastic's Drunken Brush Goop to clean them - it is made specifically for miniature painting brushes!
